Programmatic and Low latency Trading Solutions
Reuters has the world's leading real-time datafeed product family, including the global consolidated feed, RDF, and the ultra-low latency feed RDF Direct. Thomson's ultra-low latency news distribution platform, TQN, currently only available in the US, will be launched in London in early 2009.
Content Integration Platform
RMDS, our world-leading real time data integration platform, will remain our as our core platform for the enterprise. RMDS will play an even more strategic role in integrating the entire suite of feeds, applications and content from the Thomson Reuters organization in the future.
Hosting solutions
We currently offer hosting for Reuters real-time feeds and platforms in New York and London. We will also make pricing and reference data as well as our trade and risk management and portfolio accounting applications available in our hosting centers by early 2009 and will open additional hosting centers in Europe and Asia.
Content
Enterprise customers now have access to the unrivalled real-time and historical pricing and reference data from Reuters and Thomson. This includes Reuters DataScope Select which provides a total solution for the customer's end-of-day pricing and reference data needs and our global tick history service (RDTH) which offers an archive of all securities carried by Thomson Reuters.
Business applications
Reuters trade and risk management applications, Kondor+ and JRisk, and Thomson’s PORTIA provide a range of essential business functionality:
- open and flexible front-to-back trading workflow and risk management
- cross-asset real-time middle-office risk management
- real-time back office validation, clearing and settlement
- distributed Enterprise Risk Management
- enterprise portfolio accounting solution
Our goal with these applications is to continue to increase the value they add to customers’ businesses while simultaneously reducing the complexity of implementations and the total cost of ownership of these vital business applications. We will do this by offering more comprehensive packaged solutions while still supporting the openness and tools necessary to integrate with proprietary and third-party data sources and applications.
