Our priority is to fully integrate the assets and capabilities from across Reuters and Thomson providing the deal-making community with a ‘best of breed’ suite of products and services uniquely matched to their requirements.
Combined with ongoing product, content and service enhancements, this integration process will ultimately result in a full suite of solutions tailored to all users within the deal-making community.
Web and mobile
Thomson ONE.com, which we launched in June 2008, is our strategic web-based solution for the deal-making community. It provides real-time and delayed quotes, news and critical financial transaction data, company financials, ownership, estimates, research and financial sponsor information.This platform already offers Reuters News and will continue to be enhanced with content and capabilities from across Thomson Reuters.
Analytics
The Investment Banking Analytics solution will meet the demands of 'power users'. It will provide them with a seamless integrated package that includes Thomson Reuters Spreadsheet Link (Excel add-in), broader office integration and a new web-based desktop solution with enhanced features and content.
SDC Platinum
Our focus here is on enhancing the transaction content and deploying next- generation platform technology to make deployment upgrades simple. In addition we will further streamline the usability of the interface so that power users get even greater efficiency from this world- class product.
Desktop
Thomson ONE for Investment Banking and Private Equity, and Reuters 3000 Xtra (with Reuters Knowledge embedded) are the key desktop offers for our investment banking customers. These will continue to be supported globally. Thomson ONE and Reuters 3000 Xtra will receive functionality and content enhancements as the best elements of each are integrated into the other. Over the long term, these desktops will converge into a single common platform that not only takes the best that each has to offer but will also incorporate step changes in the user experience such as vastly improved navigation, search and usability.
