Chris Ahearn

Chris Ahearn is President of Reuters Media at Thomson Reuters, where he oversees the publishing and distribution of news and information services by Reuters Media to media and business professionals. Reuters Media includes the Reuters News Agency, Professional Publishing and Consumer Media business lines. Mr. Ahearn assumed this position after serving as President of Reuters Media since 2003.
Prior to joining the Reuters Media division, Mr. Ahearn was Executive Vice President at Reuters where he founded the Reuters Knowledge product line. Prior to joining Reuters in 2001, Mr. Ahearn worked as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan and Credit Suisse First Boston. He is a board member at The Kitchen, a non-profit Arts organization in New York.
Mr. Ahearn is a graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
