David Turner
Chief Financial Officer
David Turner is Chief Financial Officer for the Markets Division of Thomson Reuters. Previously, Mr. Turner served as Senior Vice President, Finance, for The Thomson Corporation. Mr. Turner also served as Chief Financial Officer of Thomson Financial from 2001 to 2005.
Prior to joining Thomson Financial, Mr. Turner worked for Reuters from 1991 to 2001, first as the CFO of the United Kingdom and Ireland operations, then as CFO of Reuters America, Reuters Information division, and lastly, Reuterspace. Before Reuters, Mr. Turner worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in London from 1982 to 1991.
Mr. Turner is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Intrepid Museum in New York City and a board member of the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research; the Community Centers Incorporated, a Greenwich, Connecticut-based charity assisting the underprivileged community; and Burning Tree Country Club. Mr. Turner also has served as co-chairman of the Fleet Week Gala and the Intrepid Salute to Freedom.
Mr. Turner graduated with a BSc (Honours) in economics from the St. Andrews University in Scotland.
