John Reid-Dodick

Global Head of Human Resources

John Reid-DodickBased in New York, John Reid-Dodick leads the Human Resources (HR) function in the Markets Division of Thomson Reuters.

Previously, Mr. Reid-Dodick has held a range of HR roles in Reuters, most recently as Head of Human Resources for the Business Divisions and Americas HR Operations. From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Reid-Dodick's responsibilities included leading the people and culture work stream in the Organizational Change Program (2001-2); overseeing global HR Operations and corporate centre specialists (other than Remuneration) (2001-02); Interim Group HR Director (2002-03); and Head of Organizational Development.

A lawyer by training, Mr. Reid-Dodick joined Reuters in 1995, serving as General Counsel for Reuters America from 1997 to 2000, when he became head of Corporate Affairs. Prior to joining Reuters, Mr. Reid-Dodick was a litigation associate with Sullivan & Cromwell from 1990 to 1995 and a law clerk for the Honorable Robert W. Sweet of the Southern District of New York for the 1988 to 1989 term.

Mr. Reid-Dodick is a graduate of Harvard Law School (J.D. 1988; Managing Editor, Harvard Law Review); New York University (M.A. 1984); and the University of Manitoba (B.A. 1983).
