Michael Peace
Managing Director, Asia
Michael Peace is the Managing Director of the Markets Division of Thomson Reuters in Asia. In this role, Mr. Peace leads the regional team responsible for the business activities across a wide-range of geographies and markets.
Previously, Mr. Peace was Global Head of the Reuters Research and Asset Management Division, as well as the CEO of Lipper, the Reuters mutual fund information subsidiary acquired in 1999. Mr. Peace has worked in a variety of business and marketing roles. His international assignments include the United States, Continental Europe and Asia, where he spent nine years in Japan and Hong Kong.
Previously, Mr. Peace worked for Lloyds International Bank in Spain, and as a sponsored undergraduate for Shell International in France.
Currently, Mr. Peace is on the board of Hexun, in China.
Mr. Peace holds a Masters in of Engineering and Management from Birmingham University, UK.
