CBP Luxembourg Selects Thomson eXimius As Private Client Wealth Management Solution

London

Thomson Financial, an operating unit of The Thomson Corporation, and a leading provider of information and technology solutions to the worldwide financial community, today announced that CBP (Compagnie de Banque Privée) Luxembourg has selected Thomson eXimius as its platform of choice for the roll out of its Front Office Wealth Management services.

CBP reached its decision following an intensive selection process coordinated by Mr. Renaud Barbier of MB Conseil & Stratégie, a consultancy with experience in the wealth management market of the Financial Services industry.

The broad functionality of Thomson eXimius was a key element in CBP’s decision to opt for the solution. The implementation will be carried out by the Thomson eXimius implementation team and the go-live date is planned for the end of the year.

"For us it was important to select a vendor that really understood our needs. At CBP we want to combine Luxembourg’s decades-old private banking tradition with a strong focus on performance and transparency. Therefore we needed a platform that could live up to this vision", said Marc Hofmann, Managing Director of CBP.

Peter Schramme, Head of Private Banking and Wealth Management, Thomson Financial added: "We’re pleased that CBP, a young and innovative Wealth Management organisation, selected Thomson eXimius. This is testimony to our focus on customer care combined with continued investment to ensure Thomson eXimius can be customised to meet the unique needs of our clients."

About CPB Luxembourg

The concept behind the Compagnie de Banque Privée (CBP) began with Marc Hoffmann’s and Norbert Becker’s observation that the operational model for private banking today is undergoing a profound transformation and that now is the right time for a new player capable of combining Luxembourg’s decades-old private banking tradition with a strong focus on performance and transparency; time for an entirely new bank with primarily local shareholders and a local decision-making structure; and time for a service model based on the principle of harmonisation of interests of all its stakeholders.

CBP holds significant equity capital, in the amount of 80 million Euro, which allows it to largely exceed the minimum solvency ratios demanded by the Luxembourg financial sector’s supervisory authorities, to offer its clients a consequential financial base and to have access to the resources necessary for its future development.

CBP is both specialised and independent. It is not just the local outpost of a large multinational group, which counts private banking as one of its many other activities. CBP only has one line of business and one mission: that of responding to investors’ concerns regarding all issues associated with their wealth management, in the broadest sense of the term.

Through its privileged ties with key players in the legal and fiscal domains, CBP is in a position to offer a complete solution for your wealth management needs, not only in terms of financial management but also as concerns transfers of assets, company creation and account consolidation.
