Freeman Imputed Fee Data

Overview

Thomson Financial and Freeman & Co. LLC have partnered to deliver investment banking fee content to users of the Thomson ONE Investment Banking solution.

Thomson Financial's Freeman & Co. deal fees are calculated using Freeman & Co. proprietary algorithms, where spreads or fees are undisclosed; otherwise, actual disclosed spreads or fees are used. Deal fees reported are on a gross basis before all expenses.

Each underwriter or advisor is then allocated its share of deal fees using Freeman & Co.'s allocation methodology, based on the number of underwriters or advisors and their role. No fees are allocated to syndicated members. Deal and advisor/manager level imputed fee content is updated on a daily basis. Freeman & Co. periodically updates the model to reflect changing market dynamics.

Freeman's fee data utilizes a robust algorithmic model and relevant criteria to ensure that it remains the most accurate model in the industry. Clients worldwide rely on this model and fee data to make better business decisions.
