Customers who use Federated Single Sign-On usually seek enhanced security.  Requiring authentication on your Workforce IAM service before allowing access to Thomson Reuters applications provides them with multiple options beyond basic password security.
Federated Single Sign-On provides two enhanced security benefits:
  1. Your IT department normally disables network logins when employees leave the company. However, third party applications such as those from Thomson Reuters are typically administered outside the IT department.  Disabling logins for third party applications is often a slower process, potentially exposing sensitive data and systems to former employees.  By requiring your users to login using Federated Single Sign-On from your Workforce IAM service, disabling users on your Workforce IAM service automatically removes their ability to login to Thomson Reuters applications.
  2.
