Review and send client documents to Workpapers tab

After clients upload their documents, you'll receive an email notification if you have a valid e-mail address in your Engagement Manager profile. Go to
Setup
, then
Users
to check if you have a valid e-mail address associated with your profile.
You can retrieve the documents in Engagement Manager and send them from the Communications tab to the Workpapers tab.
View documents and send them to the Workpapers tab:
  1. Sign in to Engagement Manager, choose an engagement, then select the
    Communications
    tab.
  2. Select the numbered link on the
    Document received
    column for the desired request. It will open a list of all the documents the client uploaded.
  3. You can mark the checkbox next to the
    Actions
    column to select all documents at once, or choose the documents that you want to send to the
    Workpapers
    tab.
  4. Select Send to workpapers
    Send to workpapers
    .
  5. Select a destination folder - you can use the filtering field to help you locate any folder. Then, select
    Next
    .
  6. Optionally, you can enter a unique reference ID for each document, then select
    Next
    .
  7. When you're finished, select
    Close
    to go back to the list of document requests.
    • You can review documents before sending to the
      Workpapers
      tab. Simply select View
      View
      for each document.
    • After the document is successfully sent to the
      Workpapers
      tab, you'll see the status Yes on the
      Sent to workpapers
      column.
