Error: Document is encrypted. Cannot merge documents.
Scenario
You may see this error when you attempt to merge PDF documents in GoFileRoom.
Error message
Document <document id> is encrypted. Cannot merge documents.
Cause
GoFileRoom is unable to merge documents that are password protected or that have other security features enabled in Adobe Acrobat.
Solution
If you need to merge this PDF, open the document in Acrobat, remove the password protection and other security features, then select
Tools
, Save back to GoFileRoom
to save the file. You should now be able to merge the document successfully.
