You can search for documents in GoFileRoom with Document Search and Classic Search. Follow these steps to perform a Classic Search.
Select
Search Documents
, then
Classic Search
from the GoFileRoom toolbar.
Choose a
Drawer
from the dropdown list.

To search for documents in multiple drawers, you need appropriate permissions for each drawer. For more information, contact your GoFileRoom administrator.
Enter search criteria in the Indexes area.

You can enter an index value if an index field has a lookup list and lookup lists are linked (as established by your firm).
You can search multiple values with a multi-value search . Select the checkboxes for the additional values you want to include, then select
OK
. You can also select multiple index values in any available lookup list.
If an index field has a , you can enter a date range to search for documents during a specific period of time.
To clear all index fields in the search screen at any time, select
Clear
.
To search for text in a document stored in a drawer:
Enter at least one index value in the Indexes section.
In the Find Text section, select
All
,
Any
, or
Exact
from the dropdown.
Enter a word or phrase in the
Text
field.

GoFileRoom
does not support wildcards in Find Text searches.
Once you've entered your search criteria, select
Search
.
GoFileRoom hides index fields after it displays search results. To show the index fields, select the
Show/Hide indexes
.

Do not select on the GoFileRoom toolbar unless you want to leave the search screen completely.
To sort the search results by data in a specific column, select the applicable column heading. Here, you can edit, view, copy, email, archive, export, and more.
