Engagement Manager 4 November, 2024 release notes

Introducing Audit Intelligence Analyze

Thomson Reuters Audit Intelligence Analyze integrates advanced AI technologies and rules-based techniques into your current audit process to simplify transaction analysis. This innovative solution is the first in a series of AI-powered solutions to offer a data-driven audit. With Audit Intelligence Analyze, you can now:
  • Automate analysis for all transactions to focus audit procedures on high-risk areas and minimize time spent on low-risk ones.
  • Improve audit quality by pulling out unusual transactions, providing the required documentation, and catching items that would normally be missed by humans.
  • Customize techniques and criteria for specific engagements to have full control over how the analysis is performed.
  • Effortlessly obtain financial information, including general ledger, sub-ledger, and trial balance data with easy data ingestion.
  • Streamline the audit process and save the results as a Workpaper in your engagement binder when the analysis is complete.
Currently, Audit Intelligence Analyze supports the analysis of accounts receivable subledger along with the general ledger. Learn more and sign-up for Analyze.

PDF editor prompts

When using the PDF editor within Engagement Manager, if you make changes to the PDF and then attempt to close the browser window before saving the changes, you will see a prompt from the web browser letting you know that there are unsaved changes and asking if you want to leave anyway.

Notification rules and user deletion

When a user is deleted, any notification rules that were created by that user are now also deleted. This prevents unnecessary alerts being generated for rules that can no longer be managed by any user.

Firm ID display

The firm ID used by the customer service, sales, and support teams are now displayed in the
Setup
, then
Firm Settings
screen within the application.

Other issues resolved

  • Account numbers with matching letters where the case doesn’t match have proper error handling in the spreadsheet import process. For example, if you have 2 accounts, “abc” and “ABC” in your trial balance spreadsheet, the import will stop with an error that indicates you have duplicate account numbers.
  • We've fixed the date formatting in the notification filters for the United Kingdom.
  • We've added an error message when adding a client name is prevented because the same client already exists with different case letters.
  • The filtering and sorting buttons in the home dashboard now add to the multicolumn sort in the dashboard. The ascending and descending buttons properly change the sort order even when there is already a multicolumn sort.
  • The completion date properly displays on the alerts when there is an engagement date rule by completion date.
  • As of date
column displays the date properly on the requests tab of the confirmation screen for United Kingdom users.
  • On the confirmation screen of an engagement, it is now possible to select a filter range for the control log for United Kingdom users.
