Workpaper reference links

With the PDF editor available directly in your browser in Engagement Manager, you can now add workpaper reference links to other workpapers. This new option on the annotation toolbar lets you open a read-only view of the workpapers, so you can cross-reference supporting documents within PDF documents. Remember to turn on the option to edit PDF documents by going to your user profile icon, select
Preferences
, then mark the option on the
PDF options
tab.

Miscellaneous issues resolved

  • If you have delete permissions in the client's drawer in GoFileRoom, you will no longer receive incorrect prompts about missing permissions when finalizing an engagement. An error message will appear during the finalize wizard only if you lack delete permissions.
  • Any user with
    Lookup List
    permission in GoFileRoom will now be able to add clients directly in Engagement Manager during the
    Add engagement
    wizard or
    Reindex client information
    wizard without needing administrator permissions.
  • Duplicate recycle bins no longer appear in the
    Workpapers
    tab of an engagement when creating engagements.
  • Engagements with the same name and different current period ending dates will have a secondary option to sort by the current period end date.
  • Email notifications from engagement date rules now display the correct date format for United Kingdom users.
  • You can set up consolidations for more than 103 child engagements, with successful testing for up to 500 child engagements.
  • You can now import or copy engagement level tax subcodes between engagements when the year-end date is 2022 or earlier.
  • The completion date and deletion date now appear correctly in the properties widget of the status dashboard after using the reset button in engagement properties to calculate the dates.
  • The splitter panels in the workpapers, notes list, and journal entries screens no longer stick to the mouse cursor after resizing them.

Miscellaneous issues resolved
  • Application performance fixes:
    • Resolved several issues related to the performance of internal APIs and services handling intermediate and final data filters.
    • Resolved intermittent issues with Risk Identification Techniques configuration settings.
  • UX issues:
    • Fixed sorting issues for columns in segment grids, such as transaction date, posting date, and due date.
    • Resolved sorting issues related to the techniques flagged column after column reordering.
    • Fixed the log in to GA error being displayed even when the user is logged in.
    • Corrected the issue where the
      Unit balance
      screen reflects -1 token due to incorrect processing of data into AIA report.
    • Resolved the issue where deducted unit balance information not getting displayed under history in the
      Unit balance
      field.
  • Back-office/AI-A order management issues:
    • These are issues related to the order processing of AI-A units. These are not seen by any application users but are relevant to EMS/Order processing/Finance team stakeholders.
    • Resolved issue with Unit cancellation for invalid order IDs and same expiry date.
    • Resolved issue where the EMS reports with Past expiry date are processed as successful with success signs in Data dog.
