Add external workpapers with drag and drop
Workpapers
Add external workpapers with drag and drop
You'll need a user account that has been granted the
Add Workpaper
permission. You'll also need to have a Client and an Engagement in
Engagement Manager
.
In Engagement Manager, open the engagement, then select the
Workpapers
tab.
Expand the folders to show the target folder where you want to add your external files as workpapers.
Use
Windows File Explorer
to drag and drop your files onto the target folder.
For each file in the
Workpaper Properties
window:
Enter a
Reference
that's unique to this workpaper within the engagement.
Select the
Description
,
Roll Forward
, and
During Finalize
fields if you want to change these properties before you upload the workpaper.
note
If you don't enter a
Reference
,
Engagement Manager
will create a unique Reference for you.
Select
Save
.
A message is shown to tell you if the upload has been successful. If the upload is successful, the files are added to your
Workpapers
tab in the folder where you dropped them.
