Enter an LLP designated member in Company Secretarial when Integration is used

When you use Integration, you'll need to enter the details of the LLP designated member in Practice Management, which will update the LLP client record in Company Secretarial.
If you don't use Integration, you'll need to follow the steps in our help topic: Enter an LLP designated member in Company Secretarial if Integration is not used. If you do use Integration you'll also need to set up the LLP in Practice Management as a company.
These steps are only used if you use Integration or use Company Secretarial through Digita Virtual Office and are unable to turn off Integration.
  1. Open the LLP client record in Practice Management.
  2. Select the
    Contacts
    tab.
  3. In the Officers section, select
    New
    .
  4. Select the ellipsis button next to
    Name
    and choose the officer from the list.
  5. Set the
    Type
    to
    Director
    .
  6. Mark the
    Chairman
    checkbox.
  7. Enter the
    Date appointed
    , then select
    OK
    .
  8. Select the
    Save and Close
    .
  9. Open the LLP client record in Company Secretarial to show the updated record.

    When you generate the Confirmation Statement (form LL CS01), the
    Designated member
    checkbox will be marked.
