Install error: Problem connecting to the SQL Server for Digita Suite

The following error will occur when the Digita software is blocked by your internet security settings: There was a problem connecting to the SQL Server on [your computer]: Safety settings on this computer prohibit accessing a data source on another domain.
Follow these instructions to fix the issue:
  1. Download the following script to your server or standalone machine: internetsettings.bat.
  2. Run the script by double clicking on the .bat file.
    If you are running Windows 7 you will need to right click on the file and select
    Run as Administrator

  3. If this does not work, please follow the instructions below:
    1. Open the Control Panel
    2. Change the View by option to Small Icons.
    3. Select
      Internet Options
      then
      Tools
      ,
      Internet Options
      , and select the
      Security
      tab.
    4. Under 'Select a zone', click 'Internet' > Custom level
    5. In the Security Settings window, scroll down to Miscellaneous > Access data sources across domains, and set this to Enable > OK.
    6. Repeat this same process again for the 'Local intranet' zone.
    7. If the error persists you may also need to apply the changed to the 'Trusted sites' and 'Restricted sites' zones as well.
  4. Re-launch the Digita installation; the issue should be resolved.
