Installation

Requirements

The minimum requirements for the HighQ Office plugin are Microsoft Office 2010 (including Outlook) and Windows 8.1. There is currently no support for Microsoft 365 OWA (Outlook Web App) or macOS.
For Windows machines, the plugin requires Microsoft .NET 4.8 Framework and Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime (VSTOR_Redist). These will automatically be installed if they are not found.

Installation

Click on your Profile image in the top-right of the Collaborate screen to view further options.
Select
Install HighQ Drive
. If you already have HighQ Drive and want to install the Office plugin please select
Install Office Plugin
.
Download and open the application.
Select
Advanced Options
. Choose to install HighQ Drive or HighQ Office Plugin either just for yourself or for anyone who uses the computer.
If you select the
Anyone who uses this computer
option, any HighQ user who logs on to the computer will have access to their personal
My Files
space. Users only see their own My Files space, not the files belonging to anyone else.
If you install the application just for yourself the installation location is set to a user folder. If you install the application for all users, a shared Program Files location is used. The location can be changed if required. Select
OK
to return to the Terms & Conditions page.
Agree to the Terms & Conditions then click the
Install
button to start the installation process.
When the installation completes the
add-in setup installed
window opens.
Select
Close
.
