Dashboards include the ability for custom colours to be applied to categories or series. This functionality is only accessible to users who are site administrators.
note
Custom colours are included in a solution template when applied to a chart that uses an iSheet on the same site and where the colours are mapped to iSheet choices. When any other column type is used to make the custom colours, these colours cannot be saved in a template.

note
Please note that depending on the type of chart you have selected (and whether or not you have chosen a series) the list of values you can assign to a colour change.
In this screen, you can either click on the colour block to select a colour from the colour picker.
Or enter the hexadecimal value of the colour you want in the colour field.
Once selected, select
Apply
to apply your changes or select
Reset
to reset the values to the pre-defined default values for the theme.
note
Please note that it is not possible to apply custom colours to multiple values. For example, if you have the sum of billed data and the sum of budget data, it is not possible to apply custom colours to those two values.
Once you have selected your colours, select
Apply
within the
Customise
tab to see your new colours applied to your chart.
Select

note
Please note that if you apply custom colours to charts that normally have a single colour, such as 'Standard column', the system automatically hides the legend as it no longer applies.
