Site and dashboard name translations

You can create multi-lingual translations for sites and dashboards. To do this, navigate to:
Site translations
Navigate to the site and select
Admin
.
The
Admin
screen opens. In
Site settings
, select
General
.
The
General
screen opens.
In the
General
screen, next to
Site name
there is a globe.
Select the globe to display the
Translate
screen.
In the
Translate
screen, you can enter each translation for your site name for each language.
Select
Save
once you have entered all the required translations and then
Save
the changes you have made to your site.
Once you have saved your changes, users viewing that site in their chosen language will see the site name displayed as the translation you have provided here.
Dashboard translations
You can also provide translations for the dashboard, dashboard name, panel titles and dashboard CK editor content.
To provide translations for areas of the dashboard, first, navigate to the
Home
tab.
The Home tab opens. Then, in the Home tab, select
Edit
in the top right hand of the screen.
The
Edit
screen in the
Home
dashboard opens.
In this screen, you can enter a name for your dashboard.
Once you have entered a name for the dashboard, click the
Globe
icon to provide multi-lingual translations. This opens the
Translate
screen.
In this screen, add all of the translations for your dashboard name.
Once you have entered the translations for your dashboard name, select
Save
. Once your changes have been saved, a user viewing your dashboard in another language will see the translation.
Panel titles
This works for other aspects of the dashboard such as panel titles. To access a panel, while editing the dashboard, select
Add panel
.
The
Add panel
screen opens.
Select any of the panels. For this example,
Activity
. The
Add panel - Activity
screen opens.
In the
Panel title
field, enter a name for the panel. Once you have done that, click the
Globe
icon to display the
Translate
screen.
In this screen, enter translations for each language you want to use.
And select
Save
. Once your changes are saved, a user viewing the panel in another language sees the translation.
