Channel content metadata allows an admin to filter the content list on the channel and set defaults. This does not restrict the content users have access to but instead shows content based on selected metadata.
When you add the content list panel to the dashboard, ensure you mark the
Respect channel settings
checkbox in the
Add panel
window.
When you add a new channel, go to the
Content metadata
tab. Select metadata for the content you need to display in your channel.
For example, if you want to display a content list in your channel, select the metadata related to the content and select
Next
. If you have additional pieces of metadata that aren't displayed, select
More
to view them.
After you add your channel, content tagged with the selected metadata is displayed.
note
Please ensure that you contact HighQ support to notify them of the metadata rules that you need to be applied (using and and or relationships).
