Unsubscribe Reasons
Overview
The Unsubscribe Reason option empowers system administrators with advanced selections to effortlessly customise unsubscribe reasons for alerter services and aggregated daily, weekly, or monthly emails, enhancing the overall user experience and efficiency through a seamless self-service configuration process.
Users can access this feature by navigating to
System Admin
> System Settings
> Unsubscribe Reason
.
For the daily, weekly, or monthly aggregated email service, it is possible to configure the unsubscribe email URL option. This URL will direct users to a designated unsubscribe page, as illustrated below.
Upon completion of the form, the individual will receive a notification confirming their successful un-subscription from the publication alerts.
This action automatically updates the user's '
Email Preferences Frequency
' to 'Never
'. 
Based on a daily cron job, the system administrator will receive a list of users who have unsubscribed from the email that day. Additionally, there is a report named '
Daily Mail Unsubscribe Audit
' which can be reviewed to access this information.
The unsubscribe reasons will then be configured in the '
Unsubscribe Reason
' section of Super Admin.
