You may need to keep a record of your learning and development and submit yearly summaries to your regulator, professional body, association, or organisation.
Viewing resources and using tools in Practical Law can contribute to your learning and development. You can use
Folders
in Practical Law to record these activities and share your records with others.
To create a learning and development folder:
Select
Folders
from the toolbar.
On the
Folders
tab, select
New
.
Enter a name for your learning and development folder.
You can create a new subfolder for each year's activity you want to record.
To keep a record of resources that contributed to your learning and development:
Open the resource that contributed to your learning and development.
Select
Save to Folder
, and choose a folder.
Go to
Folders
, open one of your learning and development folders, and open a Resource that you want to write a reflection on.
Select
New Annotation
and write your reflection.
tip
You can add a note up to 250 characters to a resource when you view it in a list of your
Folder
contents. If you add an
Annotation
to a resource, you'll have a 3,000 word limit.
To share your learning and development folder:
Open the folder you want to share.
Mark the
Select all
checkbox to select all resources in the folder, or choose individual resources.
