After migration: Set up Azure Virtual Desktop
After your
Virtual Office CS or SaaS
has been updated with the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) experience, if you haven't already you need to download the AVD installation package to get the necessary tools in your computer.

Install the AVD package
Sign in to
NetStaff CS
with your Thomson Reuters Account.
Follow the instructions under
Install Azure Virtual Desktop
on your screen and select
Download Azure Virtual Desktop Installer
.

If you don't see this link, you do not have access to applications through
Virtual Office CS or SaaS
powered by Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop.
Locate the installation file and run it.

The installer will add the following on your computer:
Azure Remote Desktop. This enables launching of
Virtual Office CS or SaaS
applications.
TerminalWorks TSPrint. This improves print performance.
TerminalWorks TSScan enables scanning in
Virtual Office CS or SaaS
. It is needed if you use the scanning features within applications such as FileCabinet CS
, Workpapers CS, or UltraTax CS
.
Follow the installation instructions on-screen.
Select
Install
.
Select
Finish
.
Set your default printer
For Windows computers, open your Start Menu and scroll to find
TerminalWorks
.
Select
TerminalWorks
, then open
Options
.
After the Options window opens, select your preferred printer as the
Default Printer
.
Select
Apply
to save your changes.
When you print, select
TSPrint Default
as the printer if you print with a
Virtual Office CS or SaaS
application powered by Azure Virtual Desktop.
important
If you use FileCabinet CS, you'll need to install the FileCabinet CS Print Driver.
Set your default scanner
For Windows computers, open your Start Menu and scroll to find
TerminalWorks
.
Select
TerrminalWorks
.
Open
TSScan Client Settings
.
Choose
Select Default Scanner
to set your preferred scanner.
