Income statement - foreign

Statement Purpose
This statement aggregates net foreign accounting income or loss for the period. The net foreign accounting income or loss amount (before distributions) for the period is the starting point in the calculation of the taxable income for the period.

Explanation of Fields

The statement enables foreign income and expense items to be aggregated for all entities within the group.

Data Flow

Amounts in this statement are aggregated from the entities' data within the group. Any group adjustment can be manually adjusted, as required, through the
Group adjustment
column.
Any adjustment for gains or losses (realised or unrealised) must be made in
Realised and unrealised gains and losses analysis – foreign
.

Signage

The signage settings are as follows:
  • Income amounts are entered as positive amounts.
  • Expense and loss amounts are entered as negative amounts.
  • A net accounting income is positive.
  • A net accounting loss is negative.
