Configure product permissions

  • Product: ONESOURCE Corporate Tax

Use the new product permissions

  1. Sign in to ONESOURCE as an administrator and select
    Administration
    .
  2. Select
    Corporate Tax
    .
  3. Select client details for permissions configuration. The
    Corporate Tax
     module categories are displayed by default.
  4. Configure module permissions:
    1. Select
      Grant full access to all modules
       for full permissions.
    2. Use
      + Expand All
       or
      - Collapse All
       to manage visibility.
    3. Expand individual categories and select required permissions.
    4. Select for detailed permission explanations.
  5. Configure dataset permissions:
    1. Go to the
      Datasets
       tab and use the
      Set Access
       dropdown.
    2. Select
      None
       (deny all access),
      All
       (grant access to all, with additional options for edit and delete permissions), or
      Individual
       (manage specific datasets).
  6. Configure entity permissions:
    1. Go to the
      Entities
       tab and use the
      Set Access
       dropdown.
    2. Select
      None
       (deny all access),
      All
       (grant access to all), or
      Individual
       (manage specific entities).
  7. Apply bulk permissions:
    1. Select
      Apply same permission to all clients
       to standardize permissions.
    2. Select
      Copy Permissions
       to replicate settings for user groups.
    note
    Bulk actions are not supported when configuring permissions for datasets and entities individually. This feature applies to those customers who give their users/user groups permission to access all entities/datasets.
  8. Use the search function to quickly find specific datasets or entities.
  9. Navigate through multiple pages using pagination controls.
