Add the NextGen map

In this step, add the new NextGen maps to the current period dataset. This is the dataset created from the roll-forward when you converted the map.
  1. Select
    Configuration
    , then
    Mappings
    .
  2. Select
    Add
    .
  3. Complete the fields in the
    New Map
     window. Be sure the
    Dataset
     dropdown shows the current period dataset you created using roll-forward.

  4. Select
    COA
    , then select the chart of accounts used with the classic dataset.
  5. Select
    Mapped to
    , then select the map that begins with
    AU Company Tax
    .
  6. Select
    OK
    .
  7. Select the
    Name
     link for the map you want to open on the Mapping window in the grid.
  8. Select
    Import
    .

  9. Select the NextGen map you created and select
    Open
    . The NextGen map imports into ONESOURCE Corporate Tax.
  10. Select
    Save
     in the ribbon toolbar.
  11. View the
    Status
     column to make sure all accounts are mapped.

  12. Use the
    Show
     dropdown and select
    Unmapped Accounts
    . You can map unmapped accounts manually.
  13. Contact Support if you find many unmapped accounts. Contact your Professional Services Consultant if no accounts are mapped when importing the NextGen map file.
  14. Repeat the steps to add each map if your dataset includes more than 1 map.
