Copy a dataset between clients

Do the following to copy a dataset from 1 client to another within the same database:
  1. Go to the
    CMS
     screen.
  2. Select the dataset using the checkbox. Associated entities will be auto-selected.
  3. From the
    More
     menu of the calculation you selected, select
    Copy to Client
    .
  4. On the popup, select the target client from the dropdown.
  5. When it's finished, verify that the dataset has been successfully copied to the target client, including its associated calculations, Chart of Accounts (COAs), and other related components.
note
  • This feature is applicable only for databases with
    OCM
     turned on.
  • If a dataset with the same name already exists in the target client, the copy will fail.
