Format cells

You can customise number formats and the colour and font used in cells in calculation worksheets.
  1. To format a cell, open the calculation and select the sheet you want to work with.
  2. In the cells to format, right-click and select
    Format
    , then
    Cells
    . Customise your settings as necessary.
  3. Select the
    Save
    icon on the toolbar ribbon to save your changes.

Customise number formats

This setting controls details for number formats, such as how to represent zeroes and the number of decimal places. Select the settings in the
Numbers
section as necessary.

Single or double underlines in spreadsheet

The application supports both single and double underline formats used in Excel sheets. This lets you view the underlined text. You can apply these formats to empty cells in your spreadsheet. The formats are recognized and appear when inserted in a calculation.
The following 2 images illustrate various underline formats that you can apply in an Excel spreadsheet and how these formats appear when the Excel sheet is inserted into a calculation.

As shown in the screenshots above, single and double underlines for total amounts need to be configured on empty cells in an Excel sheet. The below shows a sample design of such an Excel sheet and how it appears in the calculation.

Change the Colour of a Cell

You can specify a colour in any of the following ways:
  • Select the small arrow to the right of the
    Fill Colour
    field, then use the colour picker to select a colour.
  • Select the small arrow to the right of the
    Fill Colour
    field and select a colour box.
  • Type the hex value in the
    Fill Colour
    field. You must include the
    #
    before the alphanumeric hex value.
  • Type the HTML colour name in the
    Fill Colour
    field.

If you want the colour to be included in the printable PDF, you must use one of the following colour values:

Format the Font in a Cell
You can specify the font colour and style, such as bold or italic, for individual cells. However, the font itself cannot be changed.
If you want the font to be bold, italic, or underlined, select the checkboxes in the General section for the styles you want to apply.
