Roll forward calculations individually

If your dataset contains multiple calculations but not all are ready to roll forward (RF), you can roll them forward 1 at a time as they become ready.
  1. Start with the ready calculations.
     When at least 1 calculation is ready to roll forward, roll forward the entire dataset as usual. In step 3 of the dataset wizard, only select the template for the entity that's ready. For entities not yet ready, either leave the template blank or reset it.
  2. Placeholders are created automatically.
     This process will generate a new roll-forward dataset. For entities without a selected template, the system will create placeholders—these can be updated later when those calculations are ready.
  3. Edit the roll-forward dataset to add new calculations.
     As additional calculations become ready, open the roll-forward dataset and select
    Edit
     to turn on changes. Create new calculations by selecting the template for each entity you want to roll forward. This ensures each new calculation is properly configured within the roll-forward dataset and ready for data refresh.
  4. Link and refresh to bring the data forward.
     Open the newly created calculation, select
    Refresh
    Manage Sources
    , and link it to the corresponding prior-period calculation. Select
    Full refresh
     in the Actions column. This will trigger a refresh and bring forward the latest data updates into the roll-forward dataset.
