Import data from ONESOURCE Tax Provision (AU NextGen templates)
We've enhanced the data import process from OTP to OCT, eliminating the need for Excel files. This integration lets Australian customers using Corporate Tax NextGen templates transfer data across applications, even between different hosting regions (EMEA or AMERS).
- Enable the integration:
- Go to .
- Turn on theONESOURCE Tax Provision Integrationoption.
- Create an import task:
- SelectImports, thenImport Detailsfrom the main menu.
- SelectAddto open the import wizard.
- Data source & target:
- Enter a name for your import task.
- Select your target dataset.
- The system will auto-populate thePeriodfield.
- SelectOTP Importas theImport Type.
- SelectONESOURCE Tax Provisionas theData Source.
- Connect to Tax Provision:
- Select your OTP Instance region (EMEA or AMERS).
- Enter your credentials and selectConnect.note
- Make sure that the user access is restricted to a single OTP instance at any given time.
- You'll need single sign-on exemptions at .
- Select theOTP Dataset Year.
- Select yourOTP Dataset.
- SelectUnitfor single entity orSub-Consolidationfor multiple entities.
- Select aUnitorSub-Consolidationfrom the list.
- SelectLocalorReportingcurrency.
- Select an OCT entity if you're importing a single entity. Otherwise leave as is if you're importing multiple entities.
- Don't change the defaultData Mappingselection.
- Field options:
- Review the preview grid showing the OTP data.
- SelectNext.
- Map data:
- Map OTP data columns to OCT destination columns.
- MarkRound to whole amountsif you want rounded figures.
- Specify theSource Currency.
- Optional: SelectPREVIEW DATAto review.
- SelectImportto begin the import.

- You can't edit, re-run, or download OTP import tasks.
