Convert the map

NextGen content completely replaces the mapping tax accounts in ONESOURCE Corporate Tax (OCT). Users will need to convert their existing Classic maps to new NextGen maps.
  1. Open your map converter file and follow the instructions to convert your OCT map.
  2. If you use multiple maps, convert each map individually.

Item 9 Capital Allowances
 mapping

New mapping targets exist for Item 9 Capital Allowances disclosures in the Company Tax Return. Users can import data directly into these disclosures via the OTP to OCT Integration Report or in a separate file.
To use this mapping:
  1. In ONESOURCE Corporate Tax, add new pseudo accounts to the Chart of Accounts to represent the disclosures.
  2. Map these pseudo accounts to the Item 9 Capital Allowances mapping targets.
  3. Once imported, the data is pushed to the {P5} Fixed assets – forms disclosures workpaper.
You can manually enter the data into the {F5} Fixed assets – audit trail workpaper if you prefer a different method.
