Employee Share Acquisition Relief

Overview

This section’s purpose is to analyze and calculate any adjustment for shares awarded to employees as part of a share scheme.

Completing the Sheets

Income statement amounts in respect of employee share acquisition relief should be identified as such by choosing the
Employee share acquisition relief
option in the
Analysed as
column on either the
Expense and income analysis
sheet or the
Investment business expense and income analysis
sheet.
Use the
Insert sheet
option from the
Insert
menu to select the
Employee share acquisition relief
sheet.
An error will show until this sheet has been developed.
Information in respect of the employee shares needs to be entered manually on the sheet for the
Relief due
to be calculated.
If there are multiple businesses in the file, you'll need to choose the relevant business in the
Business
column for each row of information.
