Land remediation relief

Overview

The
Land remediation relief
sheet has been designed to report and calculate the land remediation relief that applies to contaminated land acquired in the UK, upon which qualifying remediation expenditure is incurred.
You can use this sheet to enter qualifying expenditure regarding land remediation and then calculate the amount of relief available for each type of business. This sheet is a unique optional sheet and has no standard supporting sheets.

Completing the Sheets

Where you have identified revenue amounts that qualify for
Land remediation relief
within the
Income statement
, you should analyse these from the
Expense and income analysis
or
Management expense analysis
sheet in which they arose. Select
Land remediation relief
from the
Analysed as
dropdown list on the row, and develop the
Land remediation relief
sheet by selecting
Insert sheet
from the
Insert
menu. An error will show until the has sheet been developed.
Where you have identified amounts of capital expenditure that qualify for land remediation relief, allocate the expense to the
Land remediation relief
column on the
Additions analysis
sheet. If you haven’t already developed the
Land remediation relief
sheet you should then do so by selecting
Insert Sheet
from the
Insert
menu.
You can add multiple rows to the
Land remediation relief
sheet to analyse the expenditure as required. If the computation has multiple businesses, a dropdown will enable you to choose the type of business to which this expenditure applies. The
Business analysis
section will then break down qualifying expenditure per type of business.
note
Columns are automatically inserted for each Accounting period in your calculation.
