Overview
To allow you to offset Patent box losses the following sheet is available in the group module:
- Patent box
- This optional sheet is used to review eligible Patent box profits or losses and allocate any Patent Box offsets
Completing the Sheets
Patent box
This sheet is populated automatically using data from the individual entities. Companies with relevant profits are shown in rows going down the sheet and companies with losses available for surrender are shown across the top. You should allocate any offsets between the relevant companies and the amounts can then be pushed down to populate the Patent box relief sheet in the entity calculations.
