Error: The Assistant's data items have been detected in virtual store

Steps to resolve this error: The Assistant's data items have been detected in virtual store indicating configuration problems on your computer.
  1. Open File Explorer.
  2. In the address bar, enter %temp% and select our Enter key.
  3. In the address bar, select Local or press Alt + up arrow key.
  4. Open the Virtual store folder.
  5. Go to ProgramData\Software Assistant\Assistant\Data.
  6. Move the files in the data to your set data location (default data location is C:\ProgramData\Software Assistant\Assistant\Data).
  7. Go to the Start menu.
  8. Open Verify and backup data.
  9. Mark the top 3 checkboxes to re-index the data files.
  10. Select Proceed.
