Return instructions or help files missing
Return instructions or help files may be missing, because your keyboard isn't configured properly.
- If you have a Microsoft keyboard, be sure the F-Lock key is turned off. Try to re-open the help files.
- If you still cannot access the help files, navigate to C:\Program Files\Software Assistant\Assistant\Help. If you're using 64 bit Windows, the directory will be C:\Program Files (x86)\Software Assistant\Assistant\Help.
- Check to see whether you have help files for the year you're working on. These will be indicated by the return name followed by the year, for example - ITR20XX, FTR20XX, Forms20XX.
- If you don't have these files, you'll need to re-install Software Assistant or download the full install from our website.
