Downloading and installing licenses via DT Connect

Complete the following procedure to use DT Connect to download and install updated application licenses for for local or network installation only.
To download your license files for an
initial
installation, choose Help > About and click the Download Licenses button. Enter your firm ID and license PIN and click the Next button.
To download your
updated
license files via CS Connect, follow these steps.
  1. Choose File > CS Connect.
  2. Select the
    Connect Now
    option.
  3. Mark the
    Retrieve licenses
    checkbox.
  4. Select the Call Now button. CS Connect logs in to our network of secure data centers and downloads your licenses.
  5. Follow the remaining prompts to install the licenses.

  • Licenses are installed to X:\WinCSI\Licenses, (where X represents the drive to which is installed).
  • If you purchased licenses for Fixed Assets CS, Planner CS, ToolBox CS, and UltraTax CS, this process also installs the licenses for these applications. There is no need to repeat the process from within each application.
