Setting up DT Connect for use with a proxy server

  1. Choose File > DT Connect .
  2. Select the Communications button.
  3. Select the Proxy Settings button.
  4. In the DT Connect - Proxy Setup dialog, mark the
    Use Proxy Server
     checkbox.
  5. Select the
    Manually configure proxy server
     option and enter the HTTP proxy address and port number for your network's proxy server, or click the
    Use Windows settings
     option.

    To view the proxy address and port number for your network's proxy server, open Microsoft Edge, choose Tools > Internet Options, click the Connections tab, and then click the LAN settings button.
  6. If your proxy application requires server authentication, mark the
    Proxy Authentication
     checkbox and enter the appropriate user name and password.
  7. Select OK twice, then click Close.
