Copying image files to folders
You can import images of the following image types into DT FileCabinet: BMP, JPEG, PCX, RAS, TIFF, ICO, JPG, PGM, TARGA, JFIF, PBM, PNG, TGA, JIF, PCD, PPM, TIF.

You cannot add multi-page TIF files to image groups.
- From the Image menu, choose Copy from File.
- In the Select Images dialog, mark or clear thePreviewcheckbox, depending on whether you want to preview the image before adding it to a folder.
- Navigate to and select the image file.note
- If you're running DT FileCabinet in the DT Virtual Office environment, you can navigate to files on your local network.
- TheFiles of typefield defaults to "All image types." To find image files of a specific format, open this drop-down list and make the appropriate selection.
- Hold down the SHIFT or CTRL key to select multiple images.
- Select the Select button to confirm the selection and open the Copy Image dialog.
- In the Copy Image dialog, the selected drawer is automatically displayed in theDrawer IDfield. To change drawers, open the drop-down list and select the appropriate drawer or <<Select multiple drawers>>.
- Change the image file name, if desired, by entering it in theImage namefield.
- In theDocument folderslist, mark the checkbox next to each document folder in which you want to store the image.
- Select the Yes button to store the image in the selected document folders and return to DT FileCabinet.
