Restrict Access dialog

Use this dialog to activate password protection and create a password for the selected drawer.
To open this dialog, follow these steps.
  1. Highlight the appropriate drawer and choose File > Drawer Properties.
  2. In the Drawer Properties dialog, click the Restrict Access button.

Fields & buttons

Master password
Enter the master password in this field. Your security configuration may be set so that only users who know the master password can assign drawer passwords and access other setup features.

This field will appear in the Restrict Access dialog only if the
Limit users of drawer passwords
checkbox is marked in the Security tab of the System Configuration dialog with standard security options enabled.
Deny access to drawer data unless password is known
Mark this checkbox to password protect the selected drawer. You need to enter a password for the drawer in both available fields. Clear this checkbox to deactivate password protection for this drawer.
Drawer password / Verify
Enter the drawer password in both of these fields and click OK when finished. The verification field is provided to minimize the chance of a mistyped password.
