Learning about third-party multi-factor authentication apps
The multi-factor authentication (MFA) feature in our Onvio and DT Professional Suite applications is compatible with many popular Time-based One-time Password (TOTP) multi-factor authentication apps, such as Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator. The third-party authenticator option is intended for those firms who are already using another company's MFA app to secure their data.
Because these are third-party apps, they
do not provide push notifications

To log in to an MFA-enabled account with a third-party MFA app, complete these steps.
- Enter your username and password on the website or application login screen as you normally would.
- When prompted to verify your account via MFA, use the third-party authenticator app to generate a numerical code.
- Enter the numerical code in the login screen for your Thomson Reuters application or website.
Our Support team assists customers by providing information, resources, and troubleshooting for Thomson Reuters applications running in supported environments. We cannot assist with third-party software. Any issues related a third-party application can be resolved with the assistance of your qualified IT personnel and/or the vendor’s support for the software in question.
