The file that I just sent to the Document Presentation module does not appear when I log in to DT Staff Portal. What should I do?
Open DT FileCabinet, browse to the drawer, highlight the DT Client Portal folder, and click the Force Retransfer button on the right. Then, choose File > DT Client Portal, select the drawer, and click the Connect button.
How do I delete a client and his files from Document Presentation?
To remove Document Presentation clients and files, click the
Cleanup
link in the Admin tab of the navigation pane.Why does it take so long to send documents through DT Connect?
The duration of file transfers depends on the size of the files and the speed of your internet connection. Transfer files early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid high volumes of internet traffic that might affect your internet service provider. If you connect to the internet through a modem, consider upgrading to a DSL, cable modem, or T1 connection.
In the DT Client Portal dialog in DT FileCabinet, what is the difference between the Changed, Unchanged, and Forced statuses?
Status | Description |

Changed | This status appears for drawers that have never been sent to Document Presentation or for drawers that contain files that have not yet been sent to Document Presentation. |
Unchanged | This status appears for drawers that have not changed since the drawers were last sent to Document Presentation. |
Forced | This status appears when you forced a document to be retransmitted the last time you sent files to Document Presentation. |
Who can access the drawers I sent to Document Presentation?
Only DT Client Portal users and DT Staff Portal users who have permission to view Document Presentation files can view the files you send.
Why can’t my client open a PDF document through his portal that I can open through my own portal?
Your client may have an outdated version of Adobe Reader installed. To check the version, open Adobe Reader and choose Help > About Adobe Reader. DT Client Portal users and DT Staff Portal users should have Adobe Reader version 7.0 or higher installed.
If they don’t have the current version or if they have difficulty opening PDF files, they can download and install the latest version of the Reader from the Adobe Reader page of the Adobe website.
In DT FileCabinet, what is the purpose of the Setup > System Configuration > DT Firm Portal tab?
Use this tab to select folders so that all folder contents for drawers marked as contributors to DT Client Portal will be transmitted to your clients’ portals.
