You can upload files of up to 2 gigabytes (GB). When uploading multiple files, each file can be up to 2 GB.
Why is it taking so long to download / upload files?
The duration of a download or upload depends on the size of the file and the speed of your internet connection. To minimize the duration, consider reducing the size of your files by using compressed ZIP files. It might also help to download or upload files early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid high volumes of internet traffic that might affect your internet service provider. Also, if you are using a modem, consider upgrading to a DSL, cable modem, or T1 connection.
I cannot see files that a client uploaded for me. What should I do?
Delete your temporary internet files or cache files and then try to view the files again.
When I try to upload a file, I receive a message reading "File is missing or empty." Why is this happening?
If you are typing the file name, make sure the location and name are correct, or browse to the file by clicking the Select Files button.
Which file types can I upload to File Exchange?
You can upload the following file types. Other file types can be submitted in a zipped file.
