Understand the next steps after enabling multi-factor authentication

Congratulations! You've successfully set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) for your account. Now that you've made your account and your data more secure, your login process will undergo some changes.
  • When you log in to Client Centre
, you'll be prompted to verify your account via your selected MFA method. This means approving your sign-in attempts through a mobile app like the Thomson Reuters Authenticator, which helps ensure that you are the only person accessing your account.
  • After enabling MFA, save your emergency access codes in a secure location
in case you lose access to your mobile device.
  • Prior to resetting or replacing your MFA mobile device
, be sure you unpair the old device from your account and install the Thomson Reuters Authenticator or another MFA app so you won't lose access to your software.
