Troubleshooting share trial error messages

Use the information below to correct an error message received when you are sharing your trial with another staff member.

Unable to create staff member from contact

Use the following steps to create the staff member and share the trial with them.
  1. Choose Setup > Staff, and then click Add.
  2. On the General tab, enter an ID.
  3. Click the
    Select Existing Contact
    link.
  4. Choose the staff member in the list.
  5. On the Onvio Access tab, move the slider to
    Enable Onvio Centre
    .
  6. Click the Select button in the Permission Groups section.
  7. Mark the checkbox for the permission group with the security settings the staff should have.
  8. Click Done.
  9. Click Save.

Unable to add staff to permission group

If you receive this error message, the staff will be able to register for their account and log in, but they will not be able to do anything. Use the steps below to add the staff to a permission group.
  1. Choose Setup > Permission Groups.
  2. Mark the checkbox next to the group the person should belong to, and then click Edit.
  3. Click Next twice to go to the "Members" step.
  4. Mark the checkbox next to the person, and then click Add Selected..
  5. Click Done.

Failed to send registration email

If you receive this error message, the staff was successfully created, but the email asking them to register their accounts was not sent. Use the following steps to re-send the registration email.
  1. Choose Setup > Staff.
  2. Mark the checkbox next to the person's name, and then click Edit.
  3. On the Onvio Access tab, click the
    Re-send a registration email to [email address]
    link.
  4. Click Save.
