Before you start
Make sure you're assigned to a permission group that has

Set up staff rates for time and billing calculations.
Add an activity
Select

Add
.
Enter an ID and name for the activity. You can also add a description that will appear on client invoices.
Choose a type for the activity:
Time
or
Expense
.
Choose a class for the activity:
Billable
,
Non Billable
, or
Administrative
.
Select
Save
when you're finished.
