The Canadian Encyclopedic Digest, or CED, helps you research unfamiliar areas of law. It's organized by subject titles and classifications, and it references tens of thousands of case law authorities and statutory provisions.
- SelectCanadian Encyclopedic Digestunder Commentary on the homepage.
- Enter your search in the search field and selectthe search iconsearch.Select a subject to browse or search classifications for that subject. You can also selectSpecify Content to Searchto filter your search to specific subjects.
- You can enter text underSearch within resultsto search within your results and refine your search in addition to other filters.
- Select a title and go to the full text document.
- On a document's page, you can browse additional legal topics in the sidebar that includes Practical Law Canada material.
You can also any available CED references from a decision. Select
