Set up two-factor authentication for your Thomson Reuters Account

Biometric setup

When you sign in to your Thomson Reuters Account and applications from a device, you can verify your identity using fingerprints or facial recognition.

Biometrics is only available as a secondary option. Choose another method first, then open your application on your device.
  1. Set up and add a primary two-factor authentication method to your Thomson Reuters account.
  2. Open the application on your device and sign in with the new security method.
  3. If your application lets you use biometrics, you'll get the option to
    Log in faster on this device
    . Select
    Continue
     to set up biometrics.
  4. Your device will then try to set up biometrics. Follow the prompts on your screen.
  5. If the setup works, your device will tell you the registration was successful. Select
    Continue
     to go to the application.
