IDS Employment Law Brief (HR)
Find out how to get technical support, how we prioritize your support requests and how to arrange free training for your Information Service.
Help desk and technical support
To get help, contact our support team. We can help you with the following:
- Everyday use:Using and operating your Information Service.
- Technical faults:Issues that stop you from accessing your Information Service.
- Editorial matters:Concerns about content quality, including the depth of legal coverage or delayed and inaccurate legislative updates.
- Training:Booking a trainer at a time you arrange with us.
When you contact the Help Desk, we log brief details of your request and give it one of the following priority levels:
- High priority:Any issue that stops you from accessing or running your Information Service, or a significant part of it.
- Medium priority:Any issue that isn't high or low priority.
- Low priority:Any cosmetic software or service issue.
Depending on your request, the Help Desk may pass it to a specialist team. If this happens, our front-line support team still owns and monitors your request. Contact them first if you have any more questions about it.
Training
We offer a choice of support to help you get the most from your online subscription to the Information Service. Our training methods include:

We tailor training to your needs and offer sessions from beginner to advanced level.
We also provide printed and electronic guides, and each Information Service has full Help files. Each Information Service also gives you dedicated support by telephone and email.
We don't charge for training, but on-site training is only available if you meet our qualification criteria.
